GBS Field Researcher reports stone throwing on her property on Lake Altoona.

Report from Kerry Akers, Researcher for the Georgia Bigfoot Society

DATE: December 2008/January 2009
NEAREST TOWN: Near Acworth, Georgia

My home backs up to Corp property. I have never ventured behind the Corps chain link fence that runs the length of the homes on my side of the street, but the lake is nearby. Also looking on, it is clear to see how close we are to the lake and that there is a lot of wooded area behind my home.

Around December of 2008, I can remember sitting in my living room watching television around 11 or 12 at night. I heard something being thrown onto my back porch. Looking outside, there was no one or nothing in my backyard. Around January 2009 there were two more incidences of something being thrown onto my porch, not sure what was being thrown because I didn't see anything but it sounded like rocks bouncing off the back of my house in the porch area. Since then I have put my Boston Terrier outside in the backyard and have noticed nothing unusual, although once my husband woke me back in February or March stating that he was sleeping upstairs and heard some knocking outside, I was asleep on the couch in the living room and didn't hear it. He woke me because he thought someone had come over and was convinced that someone was outside and he was very shaken up. Upon investigation, no one was seen sneaking around the house.
